21C - Developing Leaders for the 21st Century Please pray for real Christian growth through 21C. Pray that God will uses his word and apply it to the lives of all at 21C, pray that eyes will be opened to God’s immense power in the Lord Jesus - and that that power will work in people to make them godly, loving, prayerful leaders. Pray for the 21C committee, that they will be diligent in preparations, but trust God and look for his strength. Pray that the promotion and advertising will come to the attention of the people who can benefit from 21C. Pray that young leaders will be willing to give time to growing as leaders, and that sessions, Presbyteries and other groups will encourage young leaders to apply. Pray that a range of appropriate mentors will be available, and that they will be equipped by the Lord to share holy lives and gospel passion with young leaders. Pray that people who have never thought about their ministry in these terms will see the value of what they can do at 21C. Pray for Peter Currie as he prepares to teach the Bible. Ask that his talks will be faithful, stirring and challenging. Pray for those travelling from all over Australia to attend the conference - particularly for the people travelling from churches in Queensland. Pray that this conference may provide the encouragement that many of our young leaders need and instill in them the desire to serve God in their leadership capacities.

Presbyterian Youth in New South Wales Give thanks for recent Annual Conference and reaffirmation of PY vision statement. Pray for the Youth Committee as it continues the work. Pray for Winter Camp (June longweekend) for faithful and enthusiastic teaching and good fellowship among the campers. Give thanks for positive response to training days. Pray for upcoming days in three regions during May/June. Give thanks for interest in PTC youth ministry training course starting at end of June. Pray for Colin Spragg (PY Training Development Director) in leading these. Pray for plans to produce a second edition of "Toolkit" and the resources and technical teams who will put it together. It's a massive job.

Presbyterian Youth in South-East Queensland Give thanks for the awesome Easter Camp held over Easter weekend. Pray that the friendships will continue and that the teaching will continue to impact people's lives and their churches. Pray for those on the Executive - for Dave Enchelmaier (President), Don Whitty (Vice President), Kirsty Lawrie (Secretary) and Tony Brown (Treasurer) - particularly since a number of changes have been made since the AGM. Pray for the coming Praise Weekend - including Youth Praise '01 and the PCQ Celebration Rally. Pray particularly for Charlie Kennedy and David Jones, the speakers at YP01 and the Celebration Rally respectively. Pray for the changes the Executive are trying to make with the youth leaders and ministers in trying to get them to support Presbyterian Youth. Pray that there will continue to be a good relationship between Presbyterian Youth and the churches.

Presbyterian Youth in Victoria Pray for Rhys Higgins (President), Fiona Meeuwissen (Secretary), David Graham (Treasurer), Andrew Vines (Councillor), Brialey Meeuwissen (Councillor), Damian Meeuwissen (Councillor), Eddie Weber (Councillor), and Gary Ware (CENC Representative) as they work together to handle issues relating to youth work inthe Presbyterian Church of Victoria. Pray for the Bushdance (18 May). Pray for the Annual Conference (13-15 July) - that youth group leaders would be encouraged to accept roles in the State Council.
